We went to other *cough* coffee place that will remain nameless and the moment I walked in, I knew I couldn't order coffee. My daughter ordered a latte and immediately regretted it. Thankfully we stopped by Jake's on the River who sent us to THIS PLACE. You saved my entire week's vacation. We've been here THREE times and I even ordered a bag of beans to go. Yup, I took a bag home with me all way to Texas. This place rocks! This place KNOWS their beans!!!!! No buts about it! This place is the place to be. Coffee tastes perfect, lattes are made perfectly. I love the place, it is a kick back chill place to be.

This my friends is how a cappuccino is made and how it should taste. Primo. The brewed coffee l selected, a medium-dark, sorry I didn't note the name, was rich and did not leave that bitter aftertaste . All coffee aficionados should take the plunge.

Wonderful coffee shop with freshly roasted beans and rich, bold espresso. It's located next to an Ace Hardware and Car Wash. But, despite its humble surroundings, this is high-end coffee. I ordered a latte and it came out perfect.
Inside, they have plenty of seating and some roasting equipment. The employees were very friendly and offered some suggestions about the Townsend area. So, if you're a local or a visitor, this is a great stopping point. I highly recommend it. -

Hands down, the best Coffee and Coffee shop I have ever been to. I'm not an everyday coffee drinker, but I truly enjoy a good cup of joe when the mood strikes me. Every time I visit Townsend, I stop in the Artistic Bean. 90% of the time I get the butterbear latte. It is the coffee drink for people who live in an ice cream world.
I was thrilled they opened a Maryville location. Same great coffee and service. The coffee beans are roasted on site in Townsend. You can purchase those fresh roasted beans for home brewing as well. Do yourself a favor, if your near either location and you appreciate the best things in life, stop in for a Butterbear latte. -

Wonderful coffee, atmosphere and staff that is so helpful and want to make sure everything is excellent! We really love the iced coffee lattes - they are great. We have gluten and dairy allergies, and they really do a great job with the alternative ingredients to make it work. We also picked up some beans for brewing at home, and they were outstanding.
